Karen started Kugarand Holdings in 2001 to Venture Catalysts in the market with a specific intent to develop a portfolio of venture capital consulting services and a broad network of all types of early stage capital. LAUNCHfn became a part of the Kugarand Holidngs family of companies in late 2003. At LAUNCHfn small businesses get help developing and building their companies so that they can attractearly stage capital and execute on their business strategies. The network of small business investors, alternative lenders, angel investor networks, early stage venture capital sources and intitutional capital investors has been cultivated over the years. Kugarand Holdings, LLC acquired the Network of Business Angels and Investors (NBAI) in early 2005 to provide a forum for the clients of LAUNCHfn seeking to find angel investors to gain credible access to a thriving angel group. With the launch of OurFundingPlanet.com, the Kugarand Holdings family of companies will have the broadest reach to serve investors and entrepreneurs in a syndication of angel investor networks and individual small business investors and those entrepreneurs seeking early stage capital in offline and online communities. With these integrated initiatives, we believe we will achieve our goal to help 500 companies succeed at building good scalable and fundable businesses by the year 2013.
