There is no good time. There is no bad time. There is only your time, and it is what you make it.” – Earl Leonard

I read this statement in a local paper. It was referring to a talk given by Earl Leonard, a former Coca Cola CEO to University of Georgia students. He was referring to the dim job prospects. He reminded the students that in 1860 the 40 students that graduated that year went off to fight in the Civil War, only 9 returned home.

He was called back to active duty and served 21 months in the Korean War.

Let me use disappointment as material for patience;

Let me use success as material for thankfulness;

Let me use suspense as material for perseverance;

I have vivid dreams. I have two reoccurring dreams. I can fly. I just start running and then I soar through the air. What fun that is! I look forward to this dream.

Other times I dream I’m driving a car and all of a sudden I can’t see…it’s either raining really hard or the lights go out. I know I am about to crash. I am powerless to do anything about it.
